James McCurtain, PE is a licensed Civil Engineer in Alaska and Washington, specializing in highway design. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage. James was born and raised in Eagle River and has lived in Alaska his whole life, other than short stints in Michigan and Washington to play hockey. In his free time, James enjoys spending time camping and hiking with his wife and fishing with his dad and brother. James is the President of the Anchorage Chapter of the Alaska Society of Professional Engineers and the Chair of 2021 Anchorage E-Week.
Jeremie Smith, PE

Jeremie Smith, PE, PMP is an Electrical Engineer with nearly two decades of experience in the oil and gas (upstream, midstream, and downstream), electric utility (GT&D), heavy industrial, and other commercial industries. Jeremie has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management. Jeremie is currently a Partner and the Engineering Manager and Principal Electrical Engineer for Taku Engineering. Throughout his career, Jeremie has practiced Project Management and Engineering for ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Golden Valley Electric Association, and PDC Engineers. Mr. Smith has been an active member in the Anchorage Chapter of the Alaska Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE/NSPE) and Jeremie recently chaired the Anchorage 2020 E-Week planning committee and hosted the Anchorage 2020 E-Week banquet.
